No. 22~ Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days

The past 2 weeks have been a really awesome week. Not because of all the great new friends I have met during the new semester or how life has been, and how God has blessed me with the time that I have. Besides all that, I finally got the chance to play and finish Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days.

Now, for those who do not know what Kingdom Hearts is.... I'll give you a brief introduction... it is an action RPG made my SquareSoft (now known as SquareEnix). It is a game which both Final Fantasy and the Disney world collide. The main story is about a young boy named Sora and how he meets all the different FF and Disney characters in different worlds. He goes to all these places in search for his friends who have gotten captured by the Heartless and Nobodies (the bad guys). He fights along side with Donald and Goofy who are searching for Mickey.

The beginning was a simple and great story, but now, they have released so many sequels and prequels that the story has become mind blowing and exciting. Which got me the urge to play Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days.

This is the timeline on where it stands....

1. Kingdom Hearts : Birth By Sleep (Just released in Japan)
   
2. Kingdom Hearts 1
3. Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories
4. Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days
5. Kingdom Hearts 2

But they were not released in according to the timeline....

• They first released Kingdom Hearts 1 (PlayStation 2)
• The second was Kingdom Hearts : Chain of Memories (for the Gameboy Advance)
• The third one was Kingdom Hearts 2 (PlayStation 2)
• This the fourth one was a remake of Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories into the PS2. (the same time Kingdom Hearts 2 was released)
  
• Finally, the fifth one was Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. (for the Nintendo DS) --This one shows you in detail the gap that was in between KH: Chain of Memories and KH 2.

All this may sound confusing...because it is. Because once you actually play the game...it is not actually the game that make it so good... it is the storyline. It is so good and new...nothing I have ever seen on TV or in the Movies.... this is a Fantasy story that really fascinated me over the years. Now that I have finished all the Kingdom Hearts series.... It feels really good. =)

Now, the latest Kingdom Hearts game was just released in Japan for the PlayStation Portable (PSP). But it is only in Japan and in Japanese. So for now, I'll be waiting for the English version.... cant wait. Anybody who is interested, I would strongly recommend you to give the game a try... But dont begin chronologically... I'd recommend you to play in this order (it would give you the excitement to find out how the story happened this way)

2. Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories
3. Kingdom Hearts 2
4. Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days
5. Kingdom Hearts : Birth By Sleep (That is if this game is finally released all over the world in English)

If you have time, watch the trailers... it will give you a brief idea as to what they story is going to be and how awesome it is. =)
